Congratulations to the March Volunteer of the Month, Nancy Bernard! Nancy is currently in her second year of service on the board and is serving as the Vice President. In the past, she has volunteered for CSPM programs including the Family Fall Crawl, the Festival of Lights, participating on the judging panel for the Sprague Scholarship, and summer camps. Nancy also is a part of the Programs Committee, where she shares insight and ideas to better our programs.
Nancy is very proud to volunteer for the CSPM because she believes the professionalism shown by the staff is reflected in our operations and our commitment to telling the diverse and inclusive stories of our community.
I love seeing the public being so excited to partake in the programs and activities and express so much gratitude for their experience.
Nancy Bernard
Nancy is an incredible volunteer whose bright smile and personality light up every room she’s in! She brings joy to all of the families, especially children, she interacts with and her knowledge and experience in creating programs has made her an invaluable member of our Programs Committee.

Nancy is very involved in the city outside of her volunteer work at the CSPM. She serves on the Westside Community Center Working Committee, is the president of her church board, and she volunteers at the Fountain Creek and Bear Creek Nature Centers – where she worked for 15 years. Nancy loves being engaged in our wonderful Colorado Springs community. She and her wife enjoy traveling to visit her sons and other family, visiting historic sites, and natural history parks.
Please join us in congratulating Nancy Bernard.
